Build Healthy Habits, Connecting to Nature in a personal way

Nature

Yes, spending time in nature and connecting with your environment can benefit your mental and physical health. There is evidence to suggest that spending time in nature can help reduce stress, improve mood, and increase feelings of well-being. One theory is that nature provides a sense of tranquility and calm that can help counterbalance modern life's stresses.

Being in nature can also give you a sense of perspective and help you feel more connected to something larger than yourself, which can be particularly helpful if you are overwhelmed or anxious.

Additionally, spending time in nature can be a great way to get some exercise, which can also positively affect your mental and physical health. Overall, connecting with nature daily, whether through hiking or simply walking in a nearby park, can be a great way to improve your mental and physical well-being.

Nature Guides

Many cultures throughout history believe that animals and humans share the same spiritual essence.

The Belief that some animals are attracted to and present themselves to us in specific moments of our lives to reveal messages is a powerful tool to help guide and teach us better habits so that we may pull from our strengths, identify our weaknesses, and move beyond our limits to accomplish what may feel impossible.

According to the instinct theory of motivation, all organisms are born with innate biological tendencies that help them survive. This theory suggests that instincts drive all behaviors. So, what exactly is instinct?

At We Move to Heal, we identify with animals' strengths and how learning from them can help us on our path.

We Move to Heal is for (anyone) who would like to create healthy habits mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Here is a guided visualization script for shape shifting into your nature guide

1. Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place where you won't be disturbed. Sit or lie down and close your eyes.

2. Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly. Repeat this process a few times until you feel relaxed and at ease.

3. Imagine yourself in a beautiful natural setting, such as a forest or a meadow. See the trees, the flowers, and the animals around you.

4. As you look around, you notice a figure emerging from the landscape. This figure is your nature guide, who has come to help you on your journey.

5. Take a closer look at your guide. See your guide's features, characteristics, and mannerisms. Notice any animal or creature characteristics they may have, such as a Bear's strength or an Eagle's vision.

6. Take a deep breath in and imagine yourself merging with your guide. You feel your body changing and shifting, becoming more like your guide.

7. Open your eyes, and you are now in the shape of your guide. Look around and notice how the natural world looks different through your guide's eyes.

8. Take a moment to explore and notice how you feel. You may feel more connected to nature and its inhabitants, able to sense things you could not perceive before.

9. When you are ready, take a deep breath and imagine yourself shifting back into your human form. Open your eyes and come back to the present moment.

10. Take a moment to reflect on your experience and how you can use your guideā€™s wisdom and perspective in your daily life.

Remember that this is a guided visualization exercise, and the outcome may vary based on individual experiences; this exercise aims to connect you with nature and find your nature guide as a source of inspiration and guidance.
